Early American Imprints, Series I: Evans (1639-1800) is a comprehensive collection of digitized publications that appeared in North America from 1639-1800. The collection is based on the relevant bibliography by Charles Evans (American Bibliography, vols. 1-16, 1903-1967) and the publisher's microfilm edition. It forms an important source base for all aspects of research on early modern American culture (history, literature, philosophy, theology, etc.).
